Conover Cheetahs

After an inauspicious start, this franchise rattled off 11 straight winning seasons, going from playoff surprise to consistent contender to the head of the class. They found their first title in 2012, steamrolling the league with a 13-1 record, Cam Newton, Jamaal Charles, and Jimmy Graham were big keys to that dominant year. 

Following the Broncos stable years, Cam was back in charge in ‘15, D-Hop rolled, and Odell tolled repeatedly as this squad surged toward a showdown with their nemesis the Crew. That title game was the most epic one yet, with the final outcome tied and shifting twice before settling in the Odell’s favor. 

It was 7 years later when destiny called again, this time with the ‘22 squad turning a solid year into a record-setting title win over the Bruisers (to the tune of 208 points!). CMC and the Bucs trio of Brady/Evans/Godwin were the keys to that conquest. And then again in '23, a slow start gave way to a 6-game win streak and yet another championship, this one in a rematch win against the Wolves. That campaign was led by CMC again, with CeeDee and Aiyuk providing big games along the way. The litany of records and accolades speak for themselves, with a history of success that is unrivaled in LOC history.
