Mitchell's Marauders
claim 4th Title

Outduel Dominators in Close Battle

It was the kind of title game we all like to see (unless we're in it). Back and forth it went in the final minutes, giving hope to both the Dominators and the Marauders on Monday night. Most of the evening saw the Dominators holding a 6-10 point lead. A late St. Brown TD put the Marauders ahead. Then Jahmyr Gibbs ripped off a big TD run down the right sideline to put the Dominators back in front with only 3 minutes remaining. A Kittle catch put the Marauders over the top and a Branch sack finally sealed the deal. Congrats to Mitchell's Marauders on claiming their 4th title and the 19th overall LOC championship!

Lamar Jackson--who led the league in scoring this year--fittingly led the Marauders bid with 26.5 points. Kittle (17) and St. Brown (14) made essential Monday night contributions. The running game was light on production this week, but the Dolphins D added 16 clutch points in a matchup where every score was critical to the outcome.

For the Dominators, a well-rounded roster served them all the way up to the finish line. Their fiercesome running attack certainly showed, with Gibbs' 24 and Bijan's 19 pacing the scoring. Brian Thomas was good for 18 and the Raiders D chipped in 16 as well. A better day from Jordan Love or Zay Flowers would have shifted the outcome for sure. Overall, a hell of a run this year for the Dominators and a deserved top-tier finish.

In the consolation game, the Wolves decided to fully unleash their Bengal forces, winning by more than 100 over the Addicts and getting 30-burgers out of Burrow and Higgins. Posting 161.5 points sent a message to the rest of the playoff contenders that they should feel fortunate this wasn't the title game. Note: The Addicts were also penalized 6.5 points for the IR fail with Pickens.

The Losers stormed back late against the Remix to take 5th place overall.

And lastly, the Crushers pulled off a late rally to beat the Threat in the Magnet Bowl, sending TLM into an unfortunate 12th place holding pattern for the months ahead.

Thanks to all of you for a fantastic season! Wish you a healthy and happy 2025 and look forward to circling back up for Year 20!
